POPY & POPYNICA GASHAPON 2002-2003 CHOGOKINS & COMBINERS (VOLTES & COMBATTRA)


These gashapon toys from 2002-2003, are already considered vintage as there are over 25 years old.

These Popy Gashapons are getting rarer and expensive to get the set above. 

There are no data on eBay on SOLD price for the entire set. But just the Grendizer/Goldorak Spazer set alone was sold for USD172.20 + USD18.37 Shipping on Apr 22, 2025. So you can imagine the price for the complete sets.

Bandai also made Popynica Gashapon toys. I didn't get them earlier because I wasn't into vehicles and ships. Only later did I realize there were mini ships that combined to form Voltes 5 and Combattra in these sets. The price for these had skyrocketed and they are probably the top three most expensive sets in this series. There are still easy to find in collectible store if you are willing to pay the high price.

Gashapon Popynica Voltes V - This set is highly sought after. SOLD price for these are 12-15,000.00 Yen as of now (2025) and price will increase in future as availability becomes scarce. 


















The chest piece is removable to form the wrist guard of the sword, just like the original toy!
Very cool gimmick!





Gashapon Popynica Combattler /Combattra V - This is the other mini sets that combine to form the robot! SOLD price ranges from 8-10,000.00 Yen (as of 2025).















Combattler doesn't comes with swords but he comes with 2 interchangeable weapons (pic below)




Here are Voltes and Combattler together. Their height is almost the same. They look pretty good on display.

VINTAGE TRANSFORMERS JR COLLECTION: HERO PACK CHROMEDOME, OPTIMUS PRIME, FORTRESS MAXIMUS & TRYPTICON

Transformers Jr line was originally called Transform Gokin, made by Seven, a subsidiary of Takara in the 1980s. These were smaller and cheaper toys made as an alternative to the more expensive ST and DX versions. VINTAGE 1989 KABAYA BATMAN SET A & B (KEATON BATMAN & BATMOBILE)

Year Released: 1989 Status : Very Rare Kabaya Batman figure Set A: eBay SOLD Price- No data.  Kabaya Batmobile Set B : eBay SOLD Price: USD49.99 + USD 95.07 Shipping on Apr 2024. Condition - mint in box Kabaya is known for making candy/bubblegum toys. When the 89 Batman Movie movie was released, Kabaya made these cool Batman model kits. There are two types in this set. Set A - Batman figure with grappling gun and base and set B, the iconic Batmobile. The Batmobile comes with a micro size Batman figure plus firing missiles gimmick, which made it highly sought after. I got mine from Japan. The boxes have heavy shelf wear but the model kits are brand new, still sealed in plastic packaging. The packaging was opened for photography and also to check contents. The bubble gum is still sealed! Note: Some parts had detached from the sprue due to age. The Batman figure wrist was detached from the arm (see pic above). No big deal as these are model kits, if you know what I mean. :)
