BATMOBILE WITH COCOON Year Released - 1989 Status - Rare eBay SOLD Price - USD124.97 + USD88.65 Shipping on June 2024. Condition: Complete with box. I've bought and sold about 5 sets of these Batmobiles. They are highly sought after. There are two versions of this - One with the cocoon shield (1st release) and one without (2nd release). The cocoon is made of flimsy plastic, which easily tears. Obviously the 1st release with the cocoon is more valuable. I have two sets of these Batmobile with cocoon, one is mint and new in box and another one is used but complete with box. The second one is use for loose display. Play Features: Cocoon Shell, Firing missiles (2 included), opening back hatch and Rolling 'turbine' sound. BATWING Year Released : 1989 Status: Rare eBay SOLD Price: USD199 + USD99 shipping on June 2024. Condition - New in box. I've also bought and sold 3 sets of Batwing. They are quickly snapped up if they are mint and complete. The Batwing I am keeping is new ...

Year Released: 1989 Status : Very Rare Kabaya Batman figure Set A: eBay SOLD Price- No data.  Kabaya Batmobile Set B : eBay SOLD Price: USD49.99 + USD 95.07 Shipping on Apr 2024. Condition - mint in box Kabaya is known for making candy/bubblegum toys. When the 89 Batman Movie movie was released, Kabaya made these cool Batman model kits. There are two types in this set. Set A - Batman figure with grappling gun and base and set B, the iconic Batmobile. The Batmobile comes with a micro size Batman figure plus firing missiles gimmick, which made it highly sought after. I got mine from Japan. The boxes have heavy shelf wear but the model kits are brand new, still sealed in plastic packaging. The packaging was opened for photography and also to check contents. The bubble gum is still sealed! Note: Some parts had detached from the sprue due to age. The Batman figure wrist was detached from the arm (see pic above). No big deal as these are model kits, if you know what I mean. :)

"We are living on borrowed time, and no day is guaranteed in this race called Life" - Early 20th Century Proverb - The purpose of this blog is to help my wife and kids know the value of my toy investments and also a little history of those toys. My dream is always to have a toy museum, or to be able to display my collection at home. Unfortunately due limited space and the ever growing collection, most of my collection had to be packed in storage boxes and hardly see the light of day. Hopefully I can realized that dream before I....and if not, this blog is a reference page for them if they want to sell the collection. Some terminology I'll be using in this blog:  Antique - Stuff that is over 100 years old. Vintage - Stuff that is over 20 years old. Exception to the rule - Star Wars Vintage refers to Kenner toys made in the 70s-80s only. The relaunch toys of 1995 and beyond are NOT considered as vintage despite being more than 20 years. Transformers toys from the 1980s are...
